Each classic sudoku consists of a 9x9 grid containing given clues in various places. The object is to fill all empty squares so that the numbers 1 to 9 appear exactly once in each row, column, diagonal and 3x3 box.

In the case of Sudoku X, also called diagonal sudoku, both diagonals should also contain the numbers 1 to 9.

These puzzles are also Anti-King. This refers to the chess game where the king can only jump 1 space in all directions. When you try to solve an anti-king sudoku than equal numbers cannot touch each other in any direction. Also not diagonally.
